Campaign Story

My name is Sinead Huell, and my husband, Justin, and I have been trying to conceive for a while now. Our dream of starting a family has been hindered by significant medical challenges. I suffer from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and anovulation, conditions that make it difficult for me to ovulate regularly. Justin has been diagnosed with a low sperm count, further complicating our path to parenthood.

PCOS is a hormonal disorder that affects many aspects of my health and has made it exceptionally hard to conceive naturally. Despite trying various treatments and losing over 40 pounds, my body does not ovulate regularly, making conception a rare and challenging event. Justin’s low sperm count adds another layer of difficulty, further reducing the likelihood of us conceiving naturally with little to no medical help.

After consulting with fertility specialists, we have been advised that assisted reproductive technologies, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), offer us the best chance of having a child. However, these treatments are costly and are not covered by our insurance. The financial burden of fertility treatments is overwhelming, and we find ourselves in a position where we need to reach out for help.

We are incredibly grateful for any and all donations that can help us cover the costs of these treatments. Your generosity will bring us closer to our dream of becoming parents and allow us to overcome the medical obstacles in our way.
